Welcome to WI/IL Cycling Association
WI/IL Cycling Association is your gateway to competitive grass-roots bicycle racing across Wisconsin and Illinois for riders of all skill levels and ages. The WI/IL Cycling Association looks to foster a vibrant and friendly cycling community through a race program that includes the Mid America Time Trial Series (Mid America Time Trial Series (MATTS)), the Tour of Illinois/Wisconsin (ToIL/WI – American Bicycle Racing (ABR)) – a series of criteriums and road races, and the Wisconsin/Illinois Rider of the Year (ROY) competition which recognizes the top riders across both these series. WI/IL Cycling Association does this with the support of a talented and experienced team of clubs, volunteers, and race promoters. All of the WI/IL Cycling Association events are sanctioned by American Bicycle Racing (American Bicycle Racing (ABR)) which provides expert guidance, experienced officials, and insurance.

Road and Criterium Racing – American Bicycle Racing (ABR)
Experience the thrill of pack racing on challenging courses throughout Illinois. From criteriums to road races, we offer categories for all skill levels and ages. Follow the ABR link for schedule of races and race registration.
Time Trials – Mid America Time Trial Series (MATTS)
Test yourself against the clock in our MATTS time trial series. MATTS features a variety of courses from flat to hill-climb, from paved to gravel, from 16 to 40 kilometers, from individual to 2-Person (50k) TT, with electronic timing and quickly posted results. Why Race With Us?
- Affordable Racing License: $10 for ages 18 years and younger; $25 for ages 19 to 79 years; free for ages 80 years and over; with the option of a single, race day license for age 79 and younger at $5
